Flexible Learning

Institutes of Technology Ireland have recently established a Flexible Learning Office to promote and coordinate the development of flexible learning amongst the Institutes. The Office organises and runs workshops, helps implement software solutions and coordinates a major project on flexible learning.

BlueBrick.ie is a new flexible learning initiative developed by the Institutes and the Office which provides easy access to over 350 modules and courses in 14 Institutes of Technology. Through the portal BlueBrick.ie learners of all ages and aptitudes can search, compare and apply for career-focused programmes to meet their individual needs.

BlueBrick.ie is supported by the Higher Education Authority and was launched by the Minister for Education and Science in September 2009.
